The GummyVerse

My apologies if this is not as fleshed out as you need it to be.
I never thought people would want lore. I was very surprised to find people get nitpicky and point out contradictions in my art. It's a drawing. It's not that deep, losers.

The Gummy-verse
Essentially, the Gummy-verse is an AU where humans are made out of Gummy. This implies that yes, even you, your mom, and historical figures have a Gummy equivalent! Historical events have happened. The world just operates similarly: both in good and bad aspects.The Gummy body
While looking humanoid, they are not mammals. They're closer to what we consider a "bird" or a "reptile". They have a cloaca, as seen in birds and reptiles, through which they defecate, and lay sweet, sugary hard-shell eggs. Their bones and nails are made of the same material. They have liquid blood that comes in any color.Flavor and Cannibalism
Any different color and texture gummy will have different flavors. In Happy's case, her hair does not consist of individual strands, instead they're blobs. Gummy people can also be found with afros made of cotton candy, which simulates the idea of individual strands. It also implies race exists in gummy people and is tied to their flavor.Gummy people can eat candy, and candy exists in the universe. This is not dubbed cannibalism, as they aren't eating their own. Think of it as eating beef. A cow is a mammal, such as yourselves. And while eating humans, may not be gross, and taste awkwardly similar to pork, we just don't do it cause of morals or something.Properties and Health
Their skin and soft tissue are made of gummy and, therefore more flexible than that of humans. One of the benefits is that they're more fall and damage-resistant, but they're not invincible. On the contrary, gummy people are more sensitive to high and low temperatures than humans. The sugar contents in their body can melt, and the gummy can dry up. This does guarantee that unless they get caught in a microwave, they have an unusually long lifespan. Aging would be the same as drying out and losing flavor.When a gummy person gets hurt, they can often be helped. Legs may be reattached in some cases and many wounds can be repaired through simply eating sugar. They cannot regrow their limbs, but you can attach someone else's.

Happy Wallson
My self-insert character follows my age and personality, to the limitations of the Gummy-verse. I do also view the character as a "blank slate". I like to alter her colors and designs a lot in her various official "Modules".Happy Modules
Different colors would also mean there are different flavors. As gummies cannot change their properties, I would say there is only one real official Happy design: Happy Wallson. So, let's agree the modules are "Happy-sonas" as they can be drawn in any way, even if it goes against the lore. A NSFW Happy is hereby a not-canon Happy-sona.Modules will need to have recognizable aspects that are heavily inspired by the character. They must also go off-design by either color, hairstyle, and/or body proportions. Happy wearing a different outfit, with her hair up, cannot be dubbed a Happy-sona or module.

Macey the Android
My self-insert character before Happy, who's now really just a character who doesn't represent anyone at all. She's smart, but not street-smart, and does not have emotions. She gives mundane responses and oftentimes wants to solve situations with drastic measures such as murdering people. It IS a solution, just not a morally great one.Helmet Boy
The kid next door. Cries a lot. Keeps an aesthetics blog. Crippling anxiety. He considers Happy his best friend but it isn't entirely mutual. A few of his tropes are lighting everything on fire, and crashing everything he drives, but somehow coming out unscathed.Similar to Macey, he is a made-up character, that references many friends and people I've come across. I'd rather make one fun fleshed-out character that covers everyone than create billions for everyone I know.

Miscellaneous Characters
The following are characters I've made, that aren't directly related to the channel and HappyLikeAwall/Gummy themes.

Macey, The Fursona
My old self-insert, not to be confused with the HappyLikeAwall Robot "Macey". Before Happy, I made it a consistent habit of inserting "Macey" into as many things as possible. You could say that she is a parody character, like Happy, but there are a few designs that I officially acknowledge as separate characters, including this one.

Miscellaneous Birds
I briefly went down this path of creating as many birds as possible. There's Patty the Cockatiel, Macey's somewhat incompetent, slightly loud best friend. Budgies and Cockatiels are compatible together. The Mayor Mitchell's Cockatoo (Pink)'s name is Rose, and she's Patty's girlfriend.

Macey, The animatronic Parakeet
I believe it's the pipeline most people have gone down. You start with a poorly recolored animatronic and evolve into a full-blown Furry. Great how nature does that.

Inkone Meishii
My first UTAU was based on Macey. What did you expect? In fact before my HappyLikeAwall channel, I had a channel dedicated to UTAU covers, where I mostly only used her vocals. It is now deleted.

The Birds

Birds
I have always loved birds, and I grew up with them! There were many other birds we had that predated the ones featured, but these were family-owned so I couldn't technically call them my own.

Harold the raging Schizophrenic
Impulsively bought on a camping trip, and I wish I hadn't. He was a complete jerk and ruined my life. Well, for the 6 or so years I had him. He was already an adult when I took him out of the pet shop. Big red flag, but I didn't care at that time.The issues began. He didn't want to be tamed, and hated hands with a burning passion. He didn't care for food, fruits, vegetables, snacks, attention, other birds, or even toys... yet he yelled, extremely loud. Non-stop. His only interest involved "partying" with the poop-lathered curtains and attacking anybody near. To discourage his "hobbies" we had to have him clipped, but regardless of that dude somehow still got into the curtains. Romance isn't dead. I considered getting him a buddy, but when I temporarily put him in my friend's aviary, he tormented every bird in there.He'd often spaz out in the middle of the night, fluttering his wings and waking up everybody as the sound of the cage resonated through the apartment complex. You'd have no choice but to sit beside him and wait for him to calm down.Shortly ago I moved to another country. It was some effort to register my birds and take them with me, so I decided to not bring Harold. He's rehomed now, and surprisingly, bonded with another bird that's just the same as him!

Pepper the Fat-ass
My earliest picture of Pepper dates back to when I first got her. November 27, 2020. She was around 3 weeks then, so that makes her around 3.5 years old. She's a half-English opaline budgie.She was my first budgie that I kept together with Harold, so she was quickly very attached to me. She's sweet but kind of a bitch, demands regular baths, and signals whenever the food is low. She also will plunge into whatever food you're having if you're not watching her! She torments every bird in her vicinity: nobody can eat unless she says so, and she pushes others away for the sake of being an asshole. She can sing "If You're Happy and you know it claps your Hands!", she imitates Harold's screeches, says "hi", catcalls, and makes kissy noises. She uses it to her advantage whenever she needs something from you, or when you're mad at her.I usually draw her with a bandage. For a while, she had to go for regular vet visits, and wear a cone of shame, because she had hit a window and couldn't stop scratching at the wound. This is also when I first drew her, and the design stuck with me.

Pip the Instigator
My second fully self-owned budgie. I think he has special needs. He's just around a year younger than Pepper, so that puts him at 2.5 years old. He's fully Australian, and I got him from a friend, who was having chicks.Immediately I noticed he would cram himself into the food bowl, or almost dislocate his legs by going into the corner of the cage, and tipping over. He'd oftentimes be stuck there until I helped him out.I'm unsure if he's even aware of his existence. He regularly hit walls or hid in random places, frozen like a statue. While Pepper responds to her name, Pip ignores his. Pip also does not pick up on social queues whatsoever, tormenting the other birds in the process. The other birds pick on him and avoid him, and he does not seem to take notice at all.Pip isn't tamed, but often will mistakingly sit on you and then randomly spaz out after a couple of minutes as if the realization suddenly hit him.His hobbies include constantly chewing on air, vomiting up seeds and chewing on that too, and chewing on the other's tails when they're trying to sleep.

Just Piper
He was already speculated to be around 4 years old when I first got him, so he's anywhere from 4 to 8 years old. I got him from the same friend because she was getting rid of her birds, in preparation for a move. Piper is albino, and part English.We both thought Piper was a girl. It's hard to know because Piper is an albino. Turns out he's not a girl, cause suddenly there were eggs. Turns out Pepper and Piper weren't just friends.Besides being a dad, he doesn't do anything at all other than be a bird and constantly hang around Pepper. To him, Pepper is whatever a curtain was to Harold.I draw him with a little feather sticking out of his head because he was molting badly when I first had him. I give his feathers a blue hue at times.

Puck, weaponized ADHD
Piper and Pepper's son. Born on May 29, 2023, putting him at just a year old. His English genes are very prominent, making him slightly bigger and fluffier than all the others.He's extremely affectionate and hyperactive. When he's excited, he flutters and yells a lot. Puck really likes Pip, hangs around him, overstimulates him just as often, and sometimes needs to be timed out. Besides Pip, he has also taken a liking to the metal rods of the curtains. What's the deal with birds and curtains?Whenever I draw him he's more or less just a desaturated version of Pip. Pip has much brighter bolder and deeper colors in comparison.
